Are you a teacher looking for a change from the traditional classroom setting but still passionate about impacting children's education? If so, 1:1 tuition might be the perfect fit for you.

Transitioning to 1:1 tutoring allows you to tailor your educational approach to the specific needs of individual students, making a significant difference in their learning journey. With pupils outside of mainstream education, tutoring sessions will occur in homes, care homes, and public libraries.

As a 1:1 tutor, you'll also gain more personal time for yourself and your family. Say goodbye to overwhelming paperwork as you control your own hours and workload, accepting as much or as little work as desired.

We are currently seeking 1:1 Maths and English tutors in Rainworth (NG21), Nottingham, and surrounding areas to work with students in Year 7, 8, or 9 (KS3). Start immediately or align with your availability.

The Role:

  • Provide personalised support in core subjects (Maths, English, or Primary, depending on the student's level).
  • Develop tailored learning programmes.
  • Conduct tutoring sessions in home environments or public libraries.
  • Work with students of diverse ages and abilities.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Consistent workload with ongoing roles.

What You'll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent, OR experience in teaching, tutoring, or as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience with KS3-aged pupils (Year 7, 8, or 9).
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and friendly demeanour.
