£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring in English and Maths for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create tailored lesson plans to suit the individual learning needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff on student performance
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support student development
  • Recognised qualification in Education or relevant subject area
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor, preferably with SEN students

  • Understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using educational technology and resources
  • Work primarily during school hours
  • Work in a designated tutoring space
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
