The KS3 English and Maths SEN Tutor will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include creating individualised learning plans, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

The ideal candidate must hold a relevant teaching qualification and have experience working with students with SEN. A clear understanding of the KS3 curriculum for English and Maths is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Additional SEN training and certifications are desirable.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching KS3 English and Maths to students with SEN.

Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, excellent communication skills, ability to differentiate instruction, and proficiency in creating engaging lesson plans.

This position is based in Braintree, Essex, and involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
