L3 Part time Nursery Teaching Assistant required in Blackburn Primary School

Working Mornings only

September 2024 – December 2024

L3 qualified status required

A school on the outskirts of the city centre in Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel in order to shortlist and appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a part time basis (AMs only) in the Nursery unit attached to the school. The role will be to work from September 2024 – December 2024.

It is essential to have the following in order to apply for the role;

Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools

Experience working alongside the EYFS Curriculum

Recent school based experience (preferably in the last three months)

Early Reading and Phonics experience

The ability to use your initiative and complete roles in the classroom with ease with little instruction.

Available to complete the part time role and commit to the school until the end of the academic year.

The school is located outside the centre of Blackburn and is commutable by train bus and car, with it being on a bus route and within distance of the inner ring road. The school is graded GOOD by Ofsted and the behaviour of pupils in the school is also GOOD. The Head teacher is keen to move learning forward and make OUTSTANDING progress. The majority of children who attend school come from a mixture of backgrounds including a majority from Asian Heritage backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
