The LAC Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing educational support and guidance to Looked After Children (LAC) in the East of England. Duties include developing and delivering tailored learning programmes, monitoring progress, and liaising with social workers and schools to ensure the educational needs of LAC are met.

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with vulnerable children

- Knowledge of the UK education system

A degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Understanding of safeguarding procedures

- Additional training in supporting children with special educational needs

- Experience working with LAC

This role involves working with vulnerable children. The LAC Outreach Tutor will be based in Mile End, Essex, but may need to travel to different locations within the East of England.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
