Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to deliver Law and Criminology lessons up to A-Level. The role involves engaging students with challenging and thought-provoking topics, preparing them for higher education and careers in law, criminal justice, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Law and Criminology that inspire, challenge, and engage students.
  • Teach both Key Stage 4 and A-Level curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.
  • Prepare students for exams and coursework, ensuring they reach their full academic potential.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism or relevant experience in Law and/or Criminology.
  • Experience teaching Law/Criminology at GCSE and/or A-Level is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the A-Level Law/Criminology curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
