Teaching Personnel are seeking a pro-active and adaptable Learning Mentor to work within a diverse and dynamic secondary school in South Bristol.

Main Duties:

  • Work 1:1 with students, providing academic and social support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans for SEN students
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Facilitate small group interventions

The ideal Learning Mentor would have:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • An empathetic, calm and patient manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
