We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning Mentor to support students with SEN in a secondary school setting. As a Learning Mentor, your role will be to provide targeted interventions and pastoral care to students with social, emotional, and learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with students who require additional guidance to thrive in their education.

The Role
As a Learning Mentor, you will:

  • Work with students in one-to-one and small group settings to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Develop tailored strategies to help students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Build positive relationships with students and provide guidance on managing behaviours and emotions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the SENCO to create personalised learning plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt support accordingly.
