Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with learning difficulties, ensuring their individual educational needs are met.
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapting classroom materials.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to monitor student progress.
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring they can participate fully.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of learning difficulties and strategies to support students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support is desirable.
