Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Edgware, Middlesex

Start date: September 2024

Hours: Full-time or part-time

Contract: Temporary or permanent

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Edgware who are on the look out for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistantsto work on a part time/full time basis. The main role of the LSA is to support the class teacher throughout the school day, this would include but may not be limited to- ensuring the resources are set up for pupils, classroom/behaviour management, pupil support (1:1 or small groups) and more. We have positions ranging from 3-5 days per week, and on-the-day ADHOC work available.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in a classroom environment 
  • Level 2 TA qualifications (desired not essential)
  • Experience working with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management skills 
  • Kind & caring personality 
  • Between 3-5 days of availability per week 

In ordered to be considered for this role you must:

  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel 
  • UK address and right to work 
  • 3-5 days of availability per week
  • Proactive and energetic nature
