Pay: £12.91 - £13.20 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible!

  • Currently working in the care sector and looking for a change of career?
  • Somebody with a passion for working with those with Learning Difficulties or Additional Needs?
  • Loves the outdoors and getting invested in a project?
  • Want to get into the world of education?

We are currently in search for caring, empathetic individuals who want to make an impact in the wellbeing and education of several pupils who have been diagnosed with emotional and social needs.

The centre is a great place to work, with top class facilities such as sensory rooms and great play facilities, as well as outdoor activities across their forest schools.

What are we looking for?

While we aren’t looking for any one thing in particular – to work in this school we are looking for somebody who wants to go to work each day and make a difference!

The role isn’t without its challenges, you will be working with students with learning difficulties – primarily those with autism – so somebody caring, considerate and willing to try new things will be ideal for the position.

We find people that come from a care/support background do very well in these positions, as a nurturing mentality tends to bring the best out of the pupils – for the same reason those with a Health and Social care qualification usually find these roles very fulfilling!

What do I need to start?

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (We can process this for you)
  • Be registered with the EWC (We can also help you with this)
  • Complete our free Level 2 Safeguarding course.
  • Possess the Right to Work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate)

If the above role sounds suitable for you – or you’d like to discuss similar roles in this area, please apply below and we will be in touch within 24 hours of your application.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
