Learning Support Assistant needed at a Secondary School in Stretford

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the heart of Old Trafford who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to run intervention sessions with a group of students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

This requirement is needed from Thursday 5^th September, so any candidates with immediate start date would be encouraged to apply. Any outstanding applicants with availability to start later on in September will still be considered. The role will run full-time, 5 days a week, until July 2025.

The role itself will include supporting teachers in various departments of the school and it is essential that candidates are approachable and outgoing in order to connect with students over a short period of time. Predominantly, the successful applicant will be supporting students with core subjects, including Mathematics, Science and English. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic and confident in their ability to provide student support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
