Learning Support Assistants needed for September

Do you want to make a difference to lives of children and young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties?

We are currently seeking SEN Teaching/Learning Support Assistant’s for a number of our client secondary schools in the Slough area starting this September.

They are comprehensive secondary schools and will require applicants to support the classroom teacher and students in small groups or 1:1. You will be providing extra support to pupils who have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviour.

Ideal applicants:

  • Have the ability to work under pressure and work collaboratively as a team. 
  • Ideally some experience working with children and young people, it is desirable if you have experience working with children with SEN
  • Full time 08:30-15:30.
  • The school would also consider candidates from youth work backgrounds, sports background, or similar roles 

This role demands motivation, passion, patience and the ability to emotionally support children who are from vulnerable backgrounds and situations.
