Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives? A well-respected Academy in Blackburn are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join our team after the October half-term.

Position: Level 3 Learning Support Assistant

Start Date: After October Half-Term

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work closely with our teaching staff, ensuring that all students receive the individual support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational programs.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
