Learning Support Assistants (Merton)

Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with diverse learning needs. - Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). - Support classroom activities and manage student behavior. - Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals. - Monitor and report on student progress and development.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organisational and time-management abilities. - Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. - Experience with special educational needs (SEN) preferred. - Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in a similar role. - Educational qualifications in teaching or support assistance (desirable).
