Education and Training

£85 - £95 Per day

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering differentiated instruction
  • Help students with personal care and mobility needs
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs

Additional qualifications in Special Education or related field desirable

Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

  • Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working in a classroom environment, providing support to students with varying learning needs. The assistant may need to assist with personal care tasks and adapt to different teaching styles. The work is typically carried out during school hours, following the academic calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
