Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

  • Provide support to students with special educational needs in the classroom
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans
  • Help students with personal care and mobility needs
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practises

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working in a classroom setting with students with special educational needs. The candidate may need to provide personal care and support with mobility. The working hours are full-time during school term times. The environment may be challenging but rewarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
