Education and Training

£85 - £95 Per day

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans for students
  • Help students with academic tasks and provide guidance on study skills
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural issues in a positive and encouraging manner
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young adults
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience working with children or young adults

  • Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy in dealing with students
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working in a classroom environment within a school setting. The hours are full-time on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with teachers and students, providing support and guidance as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
