Salary: £85 - £95 per day

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students
  • Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and using technology
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create inclusive learning environments
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and empathetic attitude towards students
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Additional qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable
  • Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
  • Experience supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities is an advantage
  • Understanding of different learning styles and needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Basic IT skills for supporting students with technology
  • Additional qualifications in education or special educational needs
  • First Aid certification
  • Work hours typically follow the school schedule
  • May involve assisting students with personal care needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
