Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner schools in the Stockport area, starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing essential support to those with additional learning needs.

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Assist teachers in creating and implementing individualized learning plans.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing resources and materials.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to the classroom teacher and other relevant staff.
  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
