Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Secondary Schools in Farnborough
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Suitable for: Graduates and Unqualified Teachers

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on students' lives? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in Farnborough, working across secondary schools to support students at Key Stage 3 and 4.

  • Provide targeted support to students across the age and attainment range, including those preparing for their GCSEs.
  • Assist with both numeracy and literacy, ensuring that pupils have the skills needed to succeed in their studies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, productive atmosphere.
  • Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum.
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills: You will be supporting students at GCSE level, so confidence in these areas is essential.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to clearly explain concepts and instructions to students.
  • Adaptability: Experience working with students of varying abilities is a plus, but the key is a willingness to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
