The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students with special educational needs. Duties include providing one-to-one support, assisting with classroom activities, helping students with their learning tasks, and promoting inclusivity within the learning environment.

- A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs - Good understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics is required. Additional qualifications in special educational needs are desirable.

Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.

- Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive teaching practises - Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff - Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

- Diploma in Special Educational Needs - Teaching Assistant qualification

The role involves working within a school setting, collaborating with teachers and other support staff. The Learning Support Assistant may need to adapt to different learning environments and support students with varying needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
