  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist with classroom activities and learning exercises
  • Help students with personal care if required
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

  • Understanding of different learning styles and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Higher education qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
  • Additional training in supporting students with specific learning difficulties
  • Working hours are typically during school hours
  • May involve assisting students with personal care needs
  • Work is primarily conducted in a classroom setting
  • Regular collaboration with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
