The Learning Support Assistant will work directly with students to provide support in the classroom, assist with individual learning needs, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Duties may include supporting students with special educational needs, assisting with classroom management, and collaborating with teaching staff to implement educational plans.

- A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths

- Experience working in an educational setting

- Relevant educational qualifications or certifications

- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs

- Familiarity with behaviour management strategies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Understanding of educational support techniques

- Additional qualifications in special education or learning support

- First aid certification

- Work will primarily be conducted in a classroom setting

- May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student needs

- Collaborative work environment with teaching staff and school administration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
