We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with students at a forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton. As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students who need extra support in their education and develop a fulfilling career in education.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in both one-to-one and small group settings.
  • Assisting in the delivery of lessons and modifying materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Promoting inclusion within the classroom and helping students to build confidence in their learning.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support.
