An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Swindon is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays.
  • Promoting positive behavior and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A relevant qualification in education or child development is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, caring approach, with a commitment to supporting children's learning and well-being.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school community.
