A well-established, Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff from January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students’ learning and development in a vibrant and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to students, helping them to engage and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist teachers in preparing resources and supporting lesson delivery.
  • Work one-on-one with students who require additional support, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Support the development of students' social and emotional skills.
  •  

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young adults, ideally within a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
