Level 2, Level 3 in Teaching and Education (Or equivalent) 

Teaching assistant

  • Support the lead teacher in delivering lesson plans
  • Assist in classroom management and student supervision
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
  • Prepare and organise teaching materials
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Basic understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Additional certifications in education or child development
  • Work in a school setting alongside teachers and students
  • Full-time hours with potential for occasional overtime
  • May involve standing for extended periods and some physical activity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
