Do you have a Level 3 qualification in a childcare course (or something similar)?

Are you looking for a new challenge in an education setting?

 

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Special Educational Needs school in Bridgend, looking to find a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 in childcare (or something similar). The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children and young adults aged 3-19 with various needs, including physical disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and speech and language difficulties.

 

Job Details:

Level 3 Childcare Teaching Assistant

£83.85 per day

Bridgend

Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30

 

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with teachers, support staff, and parents to provide the best support to pupils.

Work closely with pupils, either in small groups or one-on-one, to assist in their academic and social development.

Adapt to challenging situations with a proactive and hardworking approach.

Positively and engagingly support children with special educational needs.

Uphold the school’s core values of Independence, Opportunity, Sustainability, and Wellbeing.

Assist the class teacher in lesson planning and creating tailored lessons for pupils.

You may be required to provide personal care.

 

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (Teaching Personnel can assist with obtaining this)

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (Teaching Personnel can assist with obtaining this)

Provide two previous employment references

Completion of Safeguarding Level 2 (available for free through Teaching Personnel).
