Level 3 Nursery Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and inspiring practitioner to join our Nursery in Burnley!

  • Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
  • Pay: £12.90 - £15
  • Location:  Burnley Nursery

Job Duties:

  • Have a nurturing approach when supporting children, prioritising their wellbeing and happiness.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for children.
  • Ensure you promote a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
  • Share ideas for inspiring continuous provision, so children can have high quality experiences.
  • Provide daily and personal care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework in order to monitor and record children’s progress and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Nursery Teacher, other professionals and parents.
  • Ensure all health and safety and safeguarding procedures are being followed.
  • Effective communication

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 EYFS Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a childcare setting
  • Enhanced DBS check
