Level 3 Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school. This is a full-time, permanent role.

-        Primary School

-        Start: April 2024

-        £12.83 p/hour

-        Full-time 8:15 – 3:30 (Monday – Friday)

-        Temporary to permanent role

What does this job do?

-        To provide ideas, resources and learning strategies for lessons.

-        To assist in pupil supervision and the management of pupil behaviour.

-        Support the development of pupils’ literacy skills in all lessons.

-        Support social communication skills always.

-        To undertake activities to assist in monitoring the personal social and emotional needs of pupils.

-        Support the development of pupils’ independent learning and independence skills.

What are the job requirements?

-        GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths

-        Childcare/NVQ/other relevant qualification (related to education desirable) at Level 3.

-        Experience of support work with children in an educational setting

-        Experience in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
