We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable secondary school in the Ashton-under-Lyne area. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.

- Provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.

- Collaborate with the teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

- Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, including the creation of resources.

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and teachers.

- Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

Requirements:

- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

- Experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school setting is desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.

- Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures.

- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with diverse needs.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
