Education and Training

£13.00 - £16.00 Per hour

• Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour of students
• Providing one-to-one support for students with special educational needs
• Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
• Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Enhanced DBS check
• First Aid certification

GCSEs in English and Maths

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
• Training in supporting students with autism or other specific needs

This role involves working in a classroom environment, supporting the teacher and students during school hours. Some flexibility may be required to assist with after-school activities or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
