Are you passionate about supporting students' learning and development? Do you have experience working with secondary school-aged children and a desire to make a difference in their educational journey? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Teaching Personnel are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools in Middleton. As an L3 TA, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or requiring additional help.
  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning, resource preparation, and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour management and help to create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
  • Support students with literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians when necessary.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a secondary school environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and patient approach to working with children of varying abilities.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
