Are you passionate about mathematics and eager to inspire the next generation? We are looking for a dedicated Mathematics Support Assistant to join our dynamic team, helping students excel in their mathematical studies.

Position: Mathematics Support Assistant
Location: Chorley
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

About the Role: As a Mathematics Support Assistant, you will work closely with our Mathematics Department, providing targeted support to students across all year groups. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting teachers during lessons to support student learning.
  • Working with small groups or individual students to reinforce concepts and boost confidence.
  • Helping to create and implement engaging learning materials.
  • Providing extra-curricular support, such as homework clubs or revision sessions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in mathematics (A-Level or equivalent, with a degree in Mathematics or a related field preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
