Salary: £25.00 Per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor/Teacher to join our team in Burton Latimer, East Midlands. As a key member of our Education and Training sector, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring and teaching in both Maths and English subjects.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths and English lessons to students
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored teaching plans
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and resources
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching Maths and English subjects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and educational standards
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations in Maths and English
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Knowledge of assessment strategies and tools to measure student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
