Salary: £25.00 Per hour

The Maths and English Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring in mathematics and English to students. Duties include developing lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English

A degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
