An Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Woking is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their permanent staff list from September 2024. Role Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Candidates must hold or be working towards achieving QTS by September 2024.
  2. Degree in Mathematics or Related Subject: A strong academic background in Mathematics is essential.
  3. Passion for Teaching: Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine interest in the subject.
  4. Knowledge of the National Curriculum: Familiarity with the Mathematics curriculum at KS3 and KS4 is required.
  5. Classroom Management Skills: Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  6. Commitment to Professional Development: Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  7. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  9. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  10. Safeguarding: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All candidates will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.
