We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about mathematics and have a desire to support students in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive maths lessons.

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional help with their mathematical understanding.

- Help create and implement lesson plans, activities, and resources that cater to the diverse needs of students.

- Support students in developing problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and teachers.

- Assist with the preparation and administration of exams, assessments, and homework assignments.

- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and staff members to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts across various levels.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.

- Organizational skills to effectively manage time and resources.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
