Our partner school are seeking to employ a Specialist Maths Intervention Educator and play a pivotal role in supporting the learning journey of their Maths students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Teachers: Collaborate with Maths educators to deliver engaging lessons, offering one-on-one or small group support to students in need.
  • Individualised Learning: Develop and implement targeted interventions tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of students requiring extra support.
  • Marking and Feedback: Efficiently assess student work, providing constructive feedback to aid their learning consolidation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Building Confidence: Foster a positive learning environment to empower students in developing their Maths proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Data & Assessment: Assist in monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis, supporting teachers in tracking student development.

You are the perfect fit if you:

  • Possess a strong grasp of Maths concepts relevant to secondary school key stages.
  • Are passionate about making Maths accessible and engaging for all learners.
  • Bring patience, enthusiasm, and encouragement, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Are highly organised, resourceful, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Have prior experience in a school environment (preferred but not essential)
