Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Maths Intervention Specialist to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Denton, Tameside. This full-time role begins in December and extends through the academic year, with the opportunity for a permanent position based on performance. Weekly pay is between £419.25 and £500.

In this role, you will play a key part in raising student attainment in maths by providing focused support to those needing additional guidance. Working closely with the school's Maths Department, you'll deliver targeted interventions aimed at improving comprehension, boosting confidence, and helping students achieve their potential in core mathematics topics.

  • Deliver Tailored Maths Interventions: Offer small group and one-on-one support sessions focused on fundamental and advanced maths topics, adapting to individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the Maths Department: Work alongside teachers to align intervention sessions with curriculum goals and develop strategies to enhance students' grasp of essential mathematical concepts.

  • Mathematics Specialisation: A degree in mathematics or a related field is required.
  • Previous Tutoring or Intervention Experience: Experience in supporting students with maths learning is highly desirable.
