A school within the Stockport area are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join the school and support the children’s development.

The school’s focus is on providing an education where we can collaborate, empower and achieve for each student. With an extensive curriculum and a plethora of extra-curricular activities on offer designed to actively involve pupils in the learning process, this school is determined to develop each pupil’s potential to the fullest it can be. As a Learning Support Assistant, your work will be pivotal to the school achieving this vision.

The role will involve working with small groups of pupils to aid the progress within the Maths department. In addition to this, you will support the department by running one to one sessions with target pupils, concentrating on helping them engage with subject material and progress in accordance with their target grades.

Criteria:

  • Relevant degree or qualification in the desired subject.
  • Ability to track and improve pupils’ performance.
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa).
  • Relevant experience or transferable skills.
