Position: Maths Learning Support Assistant
Location: Glossop
Type: Full-time
Salary: £400 - £500 per week, depending on experience and hours

Are you a recent Maths graduate aiming to become a qualified teacher? Join one of our partner schools in Glossop as a Maths Teaching Assistant and take the first step in your teaching career. This role offers invaluable classroom experience, with the potential for future permanent teaching positions.

  • Support students who are struggling academically, working in small groups or one-to-one settings.
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behavior.
  • Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Help create a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.
  • A degree in Maths or a related field.
  • A passion for education and helping students achieve their best.
  • The ability to obtain a fully enhanced DBS check.
  • Two employment-based references covering the last two years.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a supportive, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school.
  • No requirement to plan lessons or mark work outside of school hours.
