An amazing secondary school in Oldham is looking for an outstanding teacher with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported in their progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to ensure every student reaches their potential
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, using tailored strategies to support individual learning needs
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop innovative teaching approached and share best practices
  • Participate in department meetings, CPD sessions, and parent’s evenings as needed

Key Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach to GCSE standard
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners
