ALN School Penarth

We are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to join our team working in an ALN School in Penarth teaching Maths to KS4 learners with additional needs. We are looking for someone on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave starting in May 2024.

We require a qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching maths up to and including KS4 who is interested in working with learners with additional needs. Our school caters to learners from around the Vale of Glamorgan with a range of additional needs including Autism, Learning Difficulties, Down’s, Behavioural and Speech and Language Needs etc. We are looking for someone that has the ability to adapt their teaching to each individual, and who ideally has experience teaching learners with additional needs.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status

Enhanced DBS

Registration with the Education Workforce Council

2 teaching references
