Position: SEN Maths Teacher

  • Develop and deliver tailored maths lessons that cater to the individual learning styles and abilities of SEMH students.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote a love for mathematics.
  • Collaborate closely with the department, parents, and other stakeholders to create and implement EHCPs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • A qualified teacher with a strong background in mathematics.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting SEMH students.
  • Creativity and flexibility in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
