About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Bognor Regis. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
• Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting a culture of respect and excellence.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
