The team at Teaching Personnel Birmingham branch are seeking qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic maths teachers around the Nuneaton and surrounding areas within Warwickshire to support our partnering secondary schools.

 

We work closely with a range of schools around the area and they are on the lookout for maths teachers for the new academic year commencing in September. The beauty of working through us, is that you have the flexibility to work whichever hours you choose. We have recently launched our new app whereby you can update your availability regularly and block out your diary on days you have other plans.. there really is no obligation!

***TEACHING PERSONNEL WILL PAY TO SCALE ON FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER ROLES***

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifed Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths
  • Bachelors degree in Maths
  • Experience teaching maths to a range of ages and abilities across a secondary school
  • Strong classroom presence and competent behaviour management techniques
  • Hold an enhanced child only DBS (on the update service)

 

As a maths teacher, you are expected to plan and deliver engaging maths lessons from Years 7-11 (and Yrs 12/13 if possible), appealing to a range of abilities and learning styles. You should regularly assess the progress of the pupils through various forms of assessment. Written and verbal feedback should be given in a prompt and informative manner, encouraging the learning and development of each individual pupil.
