Maths Teacher

A well-regarded secondary school and sixth form in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide temporary cover for Key Stage 3 (KS3) students. This role is for a period of 6-8 weeks, covering full-time hours.

• Teaching: Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 students, following the existing schemes of work.
• Marking: Assessing and marking students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning progress.
• General Cover: In addition to Maths teaching, the candidate may be required to provide general cover for other subjects as needed.
• Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment, ensuring that all students are engaged and adhering to school policies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level, ideally with KS3.
• Strong Communication Skills: The ability to clearly convey mathematical concepts and engage students.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to different classroom environments and cover various subjects as needed.
• Organisational Skills: Efficient in marking and providing feedback within the required timeframe.
