Job Description
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join our educational team. This role will be based in a Secondary School in Newport. The successful candidate will be experienced and dedicated in the position, with a genuine passion for working with children and young people and a great knowledge of the subject and school curriculum.

Hours: Full Time
Salary: Paid in line with MPS, starting at £157.66 daily
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent subject and curriculum knowledge to develop students understanding and progression.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and members of staff.
- Create and design exciting lesson plans to ensure student learning is maximised to achieve success.
- Establish a positive relationship with students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Able to deliver exciting lessons to meet the needs of all learners and access their full potential.
- Have an excellent understanding of Safeguarding practices.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT.
- Being able to teach up to KS4, (KS5 is desirable but not required)
- Enhanced DBS and registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
